Processes
To successfully renew your trade licence, please prepare the following documents:
Signed terms and conditions
Signed pricing sheet
Signed application form
Valid office lease agreement (if applicable)
Updated shareholder documents (passport and UAE visa copies)
To apply for a new visa, you will need:
Completed and signed visa application form
Passport copy (valid for at least 7 months with 3 blank pages)
Proof of current visa status (if applicable)
Copy of the valid company licence
Copy of the valid Establishment/Immigration card
Signed employment contract
University degree certificate (if required – attested and translated)
Passport-sized photographs (white background, high resolution)
For visa renewal, ensure you have the following:
Signed visa renewal application form
Passport copy (valid for at least 7 months with current UAE residence visa)
Original medical fitness test report (negative results for tested conditions)
Emirates ID renewal registration form
Valid company licence copy
Valid Establishment/Immigration card copy
Signed employment contract
Attested and translated university degree certificate (if applicable)
Passport-sized photographs (white background, high resolution)
The trade licence renewal process typically takes 2 to 7 working days.
New visa application: Approximately 2 to 6 weeks
Visa renewal: Approximately 5 to 15 working days
A dependant’s visa generally takes 1 to 3 weeks to process.
To change your company name, follow these steps:
Propose a new company name for approval
Upon name availability, we will publish a name change notice in a local newspaper
Submit signed amendment forms
Return all original company incorporation documents
Our team will manage the entire process in coordination with the relevant licensing authority.
To transfer ownership of your company, you will need:
Pre-approval from Immigration for the new shareholder(s)
Signed sale of shares agreement between buyer and seller
Return of original company documents
To apply for a dependant’s residence visa, please provide:
Signed dependant visa application form
Sponsor’s valid passport and UAE residence visa copy
Dependant’s valid passport copy
Proof of current visa status
Sponsor’s Emirates ID (original)
EJARI registration certificate and original tenancy contract/title deed
Sponsor’s original salary certificate
Attested and translated marriage certificate (if not in English or Arabic)
Dependant’s passport photographs (white background, high resolution)
Free Zones
Once your establishment card is issued, your assigned Visa Consultant at Mavericksvcs will contact you to guide you through each step and gather the necessary documentation for your visa application.
Currently, direct transfers between UAE free zones are not permitted. However, you may establish a branch of your existing company in a different free zone if needed.
To open a business bank account in the UAE, you will generally need:
Original company documents issued by MaverickSVCS
CVs of shareholders and directors
A concise business activity summary
Any additional documents requested by the selected bank
Opening a UAE business bank account is typically free if you handle it independently. However, banks do require maintaining a minimum monthly balance, which varies by institution.
Once your business license is issued, you’ll receive an email notification from Mavericksvcs. You can then schedule a pickup with your Client Service Specialist at a convenient time.
You will receive a renewal reminder from your Relationship Manager around 90 days before the license expiry. Simply get in touch when you’re ready, and we’ll take care of the entire renewal process on your behalf.
The visa renewal process includes:
Completing a medical fitness test
Registering for Emirates ID renewal
Submitting your passport (must have at least 7 months validity and 3 blank pages)
Providing any additional required documents

If you’re under Mavericksvcs corporate sponsorship, we offer a flexible 30-day notice period for ownership transfer no penalties, no complications. If you’re working with an individual partner, a mutual agreement will be required for any exit or replacement terms.
Yes, a mainland company registered in Dubai or other emirates can own residential and commercial property across the UAE.
